This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is the public privacy policy for My Activity Centre and for hfcireland.com.

My Activity Centre is an application we have developed for children with a neurodiversity. It provides colouring, puzzles, games and crafts for entertainment, learning and development, on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. The application home page is My Activity Centre.
2. Scope
This policy covers:
- Visitors to this website
- Parents, guardians and authorised users of My Activity Centre
- Children who use My Activity Centre under adult supervision
- People who contact us by email, phone or web form
- Google account information used to sign in to, activate, or manage My Activity Centre
3. Personal data we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number and organisation, when you contact us or request support
- Licence, activation or purchase details needed to provide the software
- Support messages and any files you choose to send us
3.2 Information from a Google account
If you sign in to My Activity Centre with Google, we may receive the following information from Google, depending on the permissions you grant:
- Your Google account unique identifier
- Name
- Email address
- Profile picture, if provided by Google
We use this information only to authenticate you, create or restore your application access, and provide customer support. We do not request Google account access in order to read your Gmail, contacts, Drive files, calendar, or other Google content unless a specific product feature later requires it and you are clearly asked to consent at that time.
3.3 Device and usage information
- Device type, operating system and application version
- Activation status and whether resources have synced
- Technical logs needed to diagnose faults, such as error reports
- Website technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed
3.4 Children’s information
My Activity Centre is designed for children. We do not require a child to create their own Google account or to provide a name, email address or other contact details in order to use colouring, puzzles, games or crafts. Where an account is needed, it should be created and managed by a parent, guardian or other authorised adult.
We do not use children’s data for marketing, profiling, or advertising. We do not sell personal data.
4. How we use Google user data
This section is provided so that Google’s OAuth verification reviewers and our users can see exactly how Google account data is used.
We use Google user data solely to:
- Sign a parent, guardian or authorised user in to My Activity Centre
- Verify identity and prevent unauthorised access
- Activate the application and associate a licence with the signed-in account
- Sync or restore application access across a user’s permitted devices
- Respond to support requests from the account holder
We do not:
- Sell Google user data
- Use Google user data for advertising, including remarketing or personalised ads
- Use Google user data to train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models
- Allow humans to read Google user data unless you have given us permission for support, it is necessary for security, or we are required to do so by law
- Transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to operate the service (for example our hosting provider) or as required by law
My Activity Centre’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Why we process personal data (legal bases)
We process personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law on the following bases:
- Contract: to provide, activate and support My Activity Centre and related services you have requested
- Consent: where you sign in with Google, or where we need parental or guardian consent for a child
- Legitimate interests: to keep the website and application secure, improve reliability, and respond to enquiries, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights
- Legal obligation: where we must keep records for tax, accounting or regulatory reasons
In Ireland, the digital age of consent is 16. Where we rely on consent to process a child’s personal data and the child is under 16, we require consent from a parent or guardian who holds parental responsibility.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary:
- Google: if you choose Google sign-in, Google processes your account data under its own privacy policy. See Google’s Privacy Policy
- Service providers: hosting, email, and IT support providers who process data on our instructions
- Related organisations: where needed to fulfil an order or support request, including authorised resellers such as Thriiver Limited
- Authorities: if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, children, or the public
We do not sell personal data. Third parties who process data for us are required to keep it confidential and to use it only for the purpose we specify.
7. International transfers
We store and process personal data in Ireland and the European Economic Area where practicable. If data is transferred outside the EEA (for example because a service provider or Google processes data in another country), we use appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:
- Account and licence data: for as long as the account or licence remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle support or disputes
- Support correspondence: typically up to 3 years after the last contact
- Website logs: for a short period needed for security and diagnostics
- Legal and accounting records: for the period required by Irish law
When data is no longer required we delete or anonymise it, except where a backup or legal archive must be retained for a limited further period.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. Access is limited to people who need it to perform their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing
- Receive a copy of data you provided to us, in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out
A parent or guardian may exercise these rights on behalf of a child who uses My Activity Centre. To make a request, email [email protected] or write to the address above. We may need to verify your identity before we respond. We will respond without undue delay and within one month, or explain if more time is needed.

11. Cookies
This website may use essential cookies needed for the site to work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
12. Third-party links
My Activity Centre and this website may contain links to online gaming or activity portals and other third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Please review their policies before use, especially where children may follow a link.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when a change is made. If a change is significant, we will take additional steps to inform users where reasonably possible.
